Thursday, September 16: Marilyn Crispell, solo piano, presented by Alternating Currents Live at Woodland Pattern Book Center. Thursday concerts are a rare exception so mark your calendars early. This will be her fourth performance at Woodland Pattern over the past 20 years and, as she told all of us on her last visit, this is one of her favorite places to play in the world.

The main purpose of this group is to establish a reliable mailing list / network to help SPREAD THE WORD for upcoming Free Jazz / improvisation / Chicago Side Projects etc. events coming to the Milwaukee Area. A lot of these shows sneak in and out too quietly due to lack of publicity. Here is a sample of the type of projects/Musicians I am referring to (that have visited Milwaukee in the past few years):
